Workplace Health & Safety
Nothing matters more to us than safety. It is our most important business practice and we demand visible leadership at every stage of a project and from everyone involved.
Carbon Management
We aspire to play an active role in Australia’s transition to Net Zero emissions by 2050. We currently monitor and report on Scope 1 and Scope 2 emissions, with ongoing development of Scope 3 emissions monitoring in step with Commonwealth and State or Territory government policy settings.
Ethical Labour & Modern Slavery

Diversity & Inclusion
We strive to maintain a workplace that fosters acceptance and respect for diversity. A workplace free of discrimination, harassment and violence in any form. We recognise that sameness is a myth and seek to achieve equality throughout our business.
Environmental Management
In addition to site specific monitoring and controls, we are also working to improve our internal waste management and recycling capabilities, together with reducing our reliance on fresh water wherever practicable.
Subcontractor Management
Our prequalification processes and operating policies ensure full regulatory and/or statutory compliance. To achieve prequalified status subcontractors must adhere to best practice governance and risk management protocols.
Gender Equality
In accordance with the Victorian Government’s Building Equality Policy, Browns has developed an organisation wide Gender Equality Action Plan (GEAP) and participates in an annual Workplace Gender Equality Audit with all Delta Group entities.
Social Procurement
Browns has embedded social procurement practices and processes into our Victorian operations, in accordance with the Victorian Government’s Social Procurement Framework. We have the capability and systems to monitor and report on project specific social procurement outcomes.
